The superintendent's contractual status shall be considered at a regular meeting of the Board in
January of each year. The appointment will be secured through a written contract which will state
the term of the appointment, compensation, benefits and other conditions of employment. The term
of the contract will not exceed three (3) years. If a contract is offered, the superintendent shall have
until the date the Board sets to accept or reject the contractual offer.
