Faculty members who desire to take students on a field trip must obtain approval for the activity.
Their request must be approved by the principal and the superintendent. The form, "Request for
Approval of Educational Tour," which pertains to supervision, transportation and insurance, must
be completed and must have the principal's signature before reaching the office of the
superintendent.
Out-of-state/Out-of-country field trips during the regular school year shall not exceed two (2)
consecutive student-attendance days, unless it can be shown that there is a clear educational
purpose. Field trips of more than two (2) attendance days will be considered on a case-by-case
basis.
